The after-school power hour will be a teen lifting group that will meet weekly on Thursdays. YMCA Teens will be given a chance at the beginning of each week to sign up for that Thursday’s session.

In this circuit style workout, we will challenge the full body strength and athleticism!  We will combine push, pull, legs, and plyometric workouts. It will utilize many functional training techniques in an attempt to make the lifters as functionally strong and athletic as possible. This strength will also promote flexibility and mobility, and will make the teens feel stronger in whatever they do. The group environment will promote hard work, create a team like atmosphere, and will teach the teens correct technique as well as effective lifting styles.
