Camp Norwich
Camp Norwich program takes place on a beautiful facility encompassing 175 acres of lake, woods, and fields in the foothills of the Berkshires. Your camper will experience new and diverse age-appropriate activities. These activities are a tool to help campers develop self-confidence, creativity, teamwork, an appreciation of the outdoors, and pride in themselves and their newly learned skills.
This camp complies with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the local board of health. HRYMCA day camps follow all local and state health department, health care consultant, Y-USA, EEC, and CDC guidelines.
**Please note BUS TRANSPORTATION to and from Camp Norwich is a separate program registration. It is very important that you secure your camper’s bus transportation as the buses fill up quickly. You can register your camper for bus transportation below under Bus Transportation.

Camp Norwich 2026 - Adventurers Grades 3rd to 5th
This challenging and exciting program for new and experienced day campers not only provides daily cabin group activities, but also encourages campers to pursue their own interests by participating in a special program area each day. Program areas allow campers to develop new skills and confidence.
This is for campers entering grades 3rd to 5th in the Fall of 2026.
Please send your camper to camp with a backpack each day that contains their bathing suit, towel, extra clothing, water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, hearty lunch, and afternoon snack. We will provide a morning snack. Please label all your camper’s belongings as well so we can help return lost and found to the camper.

Camp Norwich 2026 - Explorers Grades Kindergarten to 2nd
This is a great introduction to summer camp for our youngest campers. Each day of camp is filled with excitement and new experiences! Daily schedules emphasize routine and provide a balance between active and quiet, sports and culture, group and individual activities. In our small-group environment, children receive the extra support and encouragement they need to feel at home.

Camp Norwich 2026 - Trailblazers Grades 6th to 8th
Empowering youth to assume more responsibility is the emphasis of this specially designed program. Each session allows campers to experience lessons in group dynamics, creative problem solving, environmental awareness, and program planning. Traditional camp activities such as boating, swimming, crafts, and sports round out the total experience.
