Tai Chi for Strength, Power and Posture

In this 4-week course, participants will be
introduced to a symmetrical, easy-to-learn
[Wu-style] tai chi form called “Silk Reeling.”
Silk Reeling is characterized by strong
stances, spine articulation and – most of all –
the development of internal power.
In four consecutive Wednesday evenings in July, participants
will come away with:
A Tai Chi form they can remember and practice on their own
Warm-up exercises to strengthen legs and spine
Tools to enhance posture
A moving approach to meditation
Wednesdays at 7:00-8:00pm in Studio 1
July 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th
