Capoeira
Join us for a dynamic 6-week introductory capoeira class at the YMCA, where you’ll experience the captivating blend of Brazilian martial arts, dance, acrobatics, music, and culture.
Capoeira provides a full-body workout while teaching self-defense techniques and fostering a sense of community. You’ll have the chance to play traditional instruments, sing authentic Brazilian songs, and even learn a bit of Brazilian Portuguese. Discover the joy of movement, build connections, and immerse yourself in this unique art form that is as energizing as it is enriching. Come ready to learn, move, and have fun!

Registration includes two classes per week: Wednesdays from 4:00pm – 5:30pm and Sundays: 1:15pm-2:45pm. Attend as often as you’re able!
