Deadlift Competition

On June 8th HRYMCA will be hosting its first ever deadlifting competition!
Come and test your strength, or cheer on others! Anyone can compete as long
as they can deadlift 45lbs. Will be a Powerlifting style competition, with each competitor having three attempts to deadlift the most amount of weight
they can for 1 rep. Winners will be based on their ratio of bodyweight to weight
successfully lifted.

Weigh in’s at 9:30am, lifting starts at 11:00am
LOCATION: AIRNASIUM

Members: $55 – Non Members: $90

Come discover the correct way to deadlift. A staple of strength training, the
barbell deadlift works your lower back, glutes, hamstrings, quadriceps, and
core, among other important muscle groups. It strengthens a movement
pattern that is frequently used in daily life, which makes it an extremely
functional workout in general. This crucial lift is among the best for
developing size, athleticism, and strength throughout the entire body.

This program will be Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
